Carl Dwayne Collins, age 50, passed away on Monday January 15, 2024 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. He was born in Gaston County and was the son of the late Carl C. Collins and Delores Dillard Collins who survives. He loved his entire family and will be missed by everyone that knew him. He loved to help others in need and would give you the shirt off his back if need be. In his spare time he loved to work on his cars, trucks, and motorcycles. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister Margie Morrow. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Tabitha Willis, his children: Corey Penner, Courtney Collins, Tyler Webb, Anthony Collins, Addison Collins, as well as his siblings: Marie Worley, Jimmy Collins, Alvin Collins, Keith Collins, and Louise Collins. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday January 19, 2024 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. The family will recieve friends from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Friday also at the Funeral Home.
