Carol Elizabeth (Hartsell) Heffner

Carol Hartsell Heffner, 79, of Belmont, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. She was born in Cabarrus County to the late Harold Watson Hartsell and Lucy Cartrett Hartsell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lawrence Heffner and by her sister, Gail Mashburn. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Kimberly Heffner Gallivan and her husband Paul, Julie Heffner Cloninger and her husband Kevin, and Jeff Dwayne Heffner; her brother, Larry Franklin Hartsell and his wife Sandra; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. The family will greet guests from 11:00 until 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. A service to celebrate her life will be held immediately following at 12:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.
