Cathy Lynn Houser

Cathy Lynn Houser, 74, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at her home. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Fred Houser and Betty Faye Swing Houser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Rusty Houser and Terry Houser.

Ms. Houser is survived by her children, Zachary Klouse (Thuy), Jimmy Davis (Diana), and Ronnie Davis; her grandchildren, Elijah Klouse, Dylan Davis (Cat), Matthew Borkowski (Kenzie), and Tara Borkowski; her greatgrandchildren, Jaxson and Prezlee; her brother, Cliff Houser; her sister-in-law, Cindy Houser; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a loving mother, maw-maw, me-maw, sister, and daughter. She was always putting others above herself and never thinking twice about it. Her laugh, smile, and even attitude will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly, NC. Services will be private.
