Charles Jerry Camp

Charles Jerry Camp, 89, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain. He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Charles Henry Camp and Dorothy Sanders Camp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Hollar Camp; his son, Charles Eric Camp, and his granddaughter, Erica Lynn Owen. Mr. Camp was a life-long member of Pine Island Country Club and an avid golfer. He enjoyed spending time at his mountain summer cabin in Spruce Pine, NC.

Mr. Camp is survived by his daughter, Renee Camp Owen (Kim); his granddaughter, Kristen Lanier Owen Smith (Tim); his great-grandchildren, Maxwell Camp and Bodhi; his siblings, Gaye Ensley, Sally Camp, and Johnny Camp; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Honoring Mr. Camp's wishes, no services will be held. Mr. Camp will be inurned with his wife and son at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte.
