Charlie David Mize

Charlie David Mize of Alexis, age 81, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024. He was born in Davidson County, son of the late Walter and Mary Lue Myers Mize. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ballard Mize; and his siblings, Lawrence, Bill, and Henry Mize. Mr. Mize was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Mr. Mize is survived by his children, Luther Mize (Ronda) and Malcolm Mize (Kristy); his grandchildren, Kristen Fogiel (Mark), Micah Mize, Lauren Wolfe (Josh), Caleb Mize (Emily Walters), and Patrick Mize; his brother, Tony Mize (Kaye); and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Mize will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Alexis, NC. The family will greet guests from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
