Cheryl Denise (Howard) Hester

Cheryl Denise Howard Hester, 64, of Stanley, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 9, 2022. She was born in Gaston County to the late Frank Verlin Howard, Sr. and Betty Jean Moore Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Verlina Howard Perry. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Terry Hester; her children, Shannon Webb, Jeff Webb and his wife Nicole, Michelle Jones and her husband Brian, Miranda Miller and her husband Keith; 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Gwen Felton and her husband Ronny, Chuck Howard and his wife Crystal, Beyonka Moss and her husband Scott, Howard Price, and Frank Howard, Jr.; and her fur babies Leah, Chase, and Sadie. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Lincoln County for their care and compassion. The family will greet guests from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. A service to celebrate Cheryl's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 13 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 3717 Hickory Grove Road, Gastonia. Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.
