Claude Luther Jordan

Claude Luther Jordan, died on August 5th, 2025.  Mr. Jordan was born September 22nd, 1935 in Chesterfield, SC.  He was the son of the late Raymond O. Jordan and Lena Carnes Jordan.  Mr. Jordan owned and operated Jordan's Garbage Service for thirty years, and retired from BFI after twelve years.  

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Elsie Rogers Jordan, son Raymond and wife Connie, former daughter in law Joey Beaver, son Claude (Rusty) and wife Lori, son Roger and wife Donna, and Steve Rogers and wife Nancy of Wildwood, Florida; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 4 step grandchildren.  

In addition to his parents, Claude is preceded in death by his sisters Anne Jordan Gardner and Martha Jordan Irvin.  

A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 8th at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.
