Clyde Douglas Crisp

Clyde Douglas Crisp, 75, of Mount Holly, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.  He was born in Swain County to the late Kermit Laten Crisp and Mary Crisp.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by both wives, Barbara Crisp and Nancy Ponder Crisp.  Clyde retired from Superior Yarns in Mount Holly and was an avid fisherman when not working.  Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Evelyn Thomas and her husband, Mack, Jack Crisp and his wife, Jeanette, Clint Crisp and his wife, Gail, and Leon Crisp; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  The family will greet guests from 12:00 p.m until 1:00 p.m Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Goshen Free Will Baptist Church, 1300 W. Catawba Avenue, Mount Holly.  A service to celebrate Clyde's life will be held immediately following at 1:00, also at the church.  Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.  Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
