Clyde Armstrong Millman, 81, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026. He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Aldred Leon Millman and Martha Frances Armstrong. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Judy Millman; and his brother, Scott Millman. Mr. Millman was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Millman is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kim Millman; his daughters, Jenny Davis (Kevin), and Martha Abernathy (Dennis); his grandchildren, Tripp and Cooper; his twin brother, Al Millman (Pat); his brothers, Bill Millman (Diane), and Sid Millman; and his sister, Shelley Fish (Jerry); and a number of nieces and nephews.
Clyde enjoyed all things racing with a special love for NASCAR, traveling to National Parks, cruising the world, and enjoying his grandson's marching band competitions and sporting events.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Millman will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the cemetery.
