Dale Carpenter

Rev. Dr. Roger Dale Carpenter, 62, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He was born in Lincoln County, son of Russell Dennis Carpenter and Delphia Payseur Shook. In addition to his parents, Rev. Carpenter is survived by his stepfather, David Shook; and his son, John Barrett Carpenter and his wife, Thyra.

A service to celebrate the life of Rev. Carpenter will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Pastor Tim Parker will officiate. The family will greet guests immediately after the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
