Daniel Lee Allen

Daniel Lee Allen, 42, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of Donald Lee Allen and Edith Klouse Allen. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Hawley Klouse; his sister, Sherry Dawn Allen; and his brother-in-law, Scott Baxter.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Dana Baxter Allen; his children, Chandler Lee Allen and Cayden Lee Allen; special niece and nephew, Mia Skylan Baxter and Justin Scott Baxter; his siblings, Bryan Lee Allen, Tiffanee Allen Haney and her husband, Christopher, Christian Allen Snider, Cheyenne Allen Haynes and her husband, Jason, and Ayrrianna Fantizia Allen; his mother-in-law, Kathy Baxter; his father and mother-in-law, Danny and Ann Baxter; his sister-in-law, Stephanie Shaw; his brother-in-law, Chris Baxter; his paternal grandparents, Tony and Joan Aceves; his maternal grandmother, Rachel Helms Klouse; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Allen will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
