David Griffin Obituary

David Alexander Griffin, 54, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. He was born in Gaston County, son of Newton Alexander Griffin, Jr. and the late Ronalda "Jody" Deese Griffin. David was a volunteer EMT for over 20 years and had no other joy than helping people. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bertha James Deese and Bernice H. Deese; and his sister, Mary Breakfield.

In addition to his father, David is survived by the love of his life and soul mate, his wife, Donna Williams Griffin; his children, Aaron (Mackenzie), Chase, Alan, Corey (Mandy), and Jacob; his siblings, Lynda Hall and Bud Breakfield; his second greatest loves, his grandchildren, Kenlie, Chance, Adalynn, Rhyleigh, Everlynn, Vincent, and Elliott, all of whom made him smile and brought joy to his heart.

The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2020 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Memorials may be made to Tri-County Animal Rescue.
