David Arnold Robinson, II, age 70, of Myrtle Beach, passed away at home surrounded by love on Friday, August 28, 2026.
David was born November 22, 1955 in Charlotte, NC, the son of the late David Arnold Robinson, Sr. and Betty Jean Cavender Robinson. Being an army brat, he grew up a little bit of everywhere, giving him a deep appreciation for all the places he went and those he crossed paths with. He enjoyed playing baseball and football throughout his school years before graduating from Wren High School in Piedmont, South Carolina. After high school he attended Anderson College (University) and Clemson University before pursuing a career in Hospitality and Hotel Management.
David was a pillar of love, strength, and support to his family and many close friends, whom he called brothers. He was a devoted father, a loving husband, and a loyal friend. He truly cherished all those in his life.
Surviving are his loving wife, Sheila Robinson, his daughter Madison Sirbaugh (Josh), his grandson Calvin Sirbaugh, as well as many close family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday September 5, 2026 at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont, NC. A memorial gathering will follow in the coming weeks in Myrtle Beach, SC.
