Obituary
Dean Lancaster, 64, of Mount Holly, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Gaston County to Dock and Eunice Griffith Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rickie Lancaster. In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Wanda; his children, Jimmy Lancaster (Dana), Brandy Lancaster (Michael Gill), and Eric Lancaster (Nicole); his siblings, Teresa Lancaster (Ronald) and Johnny Lancaster (Natalia); grandchildren, Brooke McAllister, Tyler and Hunter King, Riley Lancaster, Christian Isley, and Cayden, Hannah, Kendall, Corbin, Kaylee, and Jenna Lancaster; one great grandson, Jaxton King; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will greet guests from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at Independent Baptist Tabernacle, 2128 Dallas Cherryville Highway, Dallas. A service to celebrate his life will be held immediately following at 2:00, also at the church. Interment will conclude in the church cemetery.
