Debra Lin Floyd, 64, entered Heaven on Sunday, October 27, 2024, while at her home. She was born in Tulsa, OK, daughter of the late Howard Lee Floyd and Nancy Waits Floyd. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Helen Floyd; her paternal grandfather, Jack Floyd; her maternal grandmother, Leila Waits; and her siblings Patricia Floyd and Robert Lee Floyd.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Duke Curtis Duncan; her sons, James Curtis Duncan and Kenneth Daniel Duncan; her siblings, Glenn Floyd and Jeanelle Carter, a number of nieces and nephews; and her loving dog, Doodle.
Debbie loved taking care of others and she dedicated her life to doing so. She always saw the best in everyone and constantly went out of her way to help the people she loved. Debbie worked at Fresenius Medical Care for over 30 years, taking care of countless patients. Even after retiring, she continued to find joy in working as a caregiver. She was a selfless woman. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Debbie led her life with integrity, kindness and love. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beach, and playing with her new love, Doodle. She will be dearly missed by many as she shined a positive light on everyone she knew.
A service to celebrate Debbie will be held at a later date.
