Deborah Bernice (Lane) Hinds

Deborah Lane Hinds, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at her home. She was born in Richland, SC, daughter of the late Henry and Odessa Roberts Lane. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Lane and Henry Lane; as well as her dogs, Miley Sheeba, and Kolby. Ms. Hinds loved her family and her dogs. She sold dog clothes as a hobby. She enjoyed working in her yard and other outdoor activities. She also enjoyed shopping and dining out with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Beverly Johnson and Travis Gulley; her sisters, Pat Bearden and Bonnie Williams; her grandchildren, Shelby Johnson, Tyler Gulley, and Tanner Gulley; and her dogs, Emmee and Toby.

A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Hinds will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday August 13, 2023, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Pastor Jerry Pennington will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
