Deborah Kay (Rogers) Peritz

Mrs. Deborah Kay Rogers Hoffman Peritz, 71, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at her home, with her daughter, Tabitha by her side. Mrs. Peritz was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Ernest Cecil "Bud" Rogers, Jr. and Lola Asher Rogers. She was a former employee of Gaston County Travel and Tourism.  She was a also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Peritz is survived by her first daughter, Tabitha Kay Hoffman Auten and spouse, Todd; her grandchildren, Hunter Auten, Cody Auten, Kasey Auten, Chelsea Buchanan Carnes and spouse, Zachary, and Danielle Carithers; her sister, Lynne Lora Rogers Goodwin and spouse, Hunter; her great-granddaughters, Sophia and Adalyn; and her niece, Kaitlen Rowland; and her second daughter, Jennifer Hoffman.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Peritz will be held at 4:00 on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church, 102 S. Central Ave., Belmont, NC 28012. Pastor Samuel Warner will officiate.
