Deborah Yvonne Scott, 71, of Mount Holly, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 5, 1955, in Welch, West Virginia. She was the beloved daughter of Beulah Mae Scott and William Everett Scott.
Debbie was a precious soul, one whose smile could light up the world. She had a heart that knew no limits and her ability to love, laugh, and bring joy to others was something that could never be measured by words. She was loved by everyone who knew her, her sweet spirit, beautiful smile, and innocent way of seeing the world left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed her path.
She is survived by three sisters Linda Frazier, Kathy Costner, and Joy Hudson and one brother Mikel Scott, and one brother-in-law Robert Hudson, and two sister-in-laws Arlene Scott and Sandy Scott. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving father, William Everett Scott and her mother Beulah Mae Scott, her two brothers William Everett Scott Jr, Virgil Lee Scott, and two nephews William Everett Scott III, and James Scott Costner.
Her life reminded everyone around her that a person’s worth is not defined as what they can and cannot do, but by the Love they leave behind. She leaves behind more love than words could ever express she will be deeply missed forever, remembered, and always loved. Even though her earthly journey has come to an end, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
