Debra Jean (Simmons) Mims

Debra Jean Simmons Mims, 59, of Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Jay and Rachel Caviness Simmons.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Delores Dameron.  Those left to cherish her memory include her son Dustin Mims and his wife Felisha; grandsons Cole and Dylan Mims; and siblings Carolyn Moore, Raeford Simmons, and Jim Simmons.  A visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly with a memorial service following at 5:00 p.m.
