Derrick Dewayne Jones

Derrick Dewayne Jones, 30, of Mount Holly, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  He was born in Gaston Count to Sissy Hearn Jones and Mark Derrick Jones.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Mark Jones, Jr.  In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Bonnie Justice and her husband Steven; as well as three nieces Layla, Kensley, and Aubrey Justice.  The family will greet guests Friday, May 21, 2021 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  A service to celebrate his life will be held immediately following at 3:00, also at the funeral home.  Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.
