Dian Ross

Dian Ross, 75, passed away on January 29, 2025. Dian was born in Mecklenburg County. She was the daughter of the late Edward Westbrook and Earlene and Henry Bart Massey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Ross.

Dian loved many things in life, including the mountains, her daily shows, and Coca-Cola. Often you would go by her house to find her watching the daily soaps and enjoying these things. She also had a companion she dearly loved her dog Cassie. Dian will be missed by all who loved her. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Christie Fox and Shannon McInville (Eric Dietrich), and her grandson, Cody Fox, and great-granddaughter Ella Jolley, as well as her sisters: Connie Bradburn (Rex), Margaret Massey, Karen Smith (Mark), Wendy Yow, and her brother Robert Westbrook (Angel).
 
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.  Following the service, the family will gather at Dian's home.
