Don Edward ("Dee") Mathison, Jr.

Don Edward "Dee" Mathison, Jr. passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Don Edward Mathison, Sr. and Vera Ellen Silver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Hicks. Mr. Mathison was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Mr. Mathison is survived by his daughters, Deeane Ernst (David) and Deena Acker (Shane); his grandchildren, Braxton, Cannon, and Medlin; and his sister, Lisa Mathison.

A memorial service, to celebrate his life, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
