Donald "Donnie" Miskelly

Donald “Donnie” Miskelly, 71, went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was the son of the late Raymond James and Annie Lee Miskelly. Donnie worked for Duke Energy for 43 years. He attended Parkwood Baptist Church in Gastonia. His love for God was shown to everyone he met. He impacted so many lives, even in his last days, and he leaves behind a beautiful legacy.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Marsha Tilley Miskelly; his daughter, Shannon Miskelly; his son, Jonathan Miskelly; his sister, Becky Buchanan; his sister, Patsy Rice and her husband, John; his twin brother, Ron Miskelly and his wife, Jane; and his sister, Vicki Cauthen and her husband, George.  He was also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, that were all like brothers and sisters to him. His grandchildren, Bailey Morris; Camryn Helms and husband, Jordan; Lucy Sutton; Jack Miskelly; and 2 great-grandchildren, Avery Kate Morris and Tucker Helms.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Parkwood Baptist Church in Gastonia.
