Doris (Purser) McNeill

Doris Purser Isenhour McNeill, 80, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Jhue Purser and Ruth Anthony Purser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John McNeill; and her brothers, John Purser, Vaughn Purser, and Lynn Purser.

Mrs. McNeill is survived by her children, Cecil Henry Isenhour, III and Rhonda Isenhour Byrum; her granddaughter, Christy Byrum (Jake Houser); her great-granddaughter, Chloe Houser; her sisters, Linda Bohn and Judy Smith; her stepson and caregiver, Reggie McQueary; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. McNeill will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will receive guests at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
