Dorothy Lee (Roberts) Adams

Dorothy Lee Roberts Adams, 96, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. She was born in Robbinsville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Powers "BP" Roberts, and Monnie Lee Davis Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Adams; her sister, Cleo Boughman; and her brothers, Worth Roberts, Hoyt Roberts, Howard Roberts, Clyde Roberts, and Joe Roberts. 

Mrs. Adams is survived by her children, Tony Adams (Diane), Lynn Adams (Betty), and David Adams (Kelley); her grandchildren, Cheryl Yonker (Bobby), Chris Adams (Holly), Weston Adams (Samantha), and Garrett Hazard (Brianna); her great-grandchildren, Cody Carelock (Sarah), Katie Celentano, Ethan Adams, Aiden Adams, Alana Hendricks, Bobby Yonker III (Jessica), Ashley Taylor (Rex), and Dustin Yonker (Stephanie); her great-great-grandchildren, Wyatt Carelock, Emerson Carelock, Athena Milton, Rylen Hazard, Peyton Yonker, Aubrey Yonker, Judith Yonker, Natalie Taylor, Ally Taylor, and Hannah Yonker; her sister, Rachel Henley (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Mrs. Adams will be dearly missed and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister. She was also a member of East Belmont Baptist Church for ninety years. 

A memorial service to honor her life will start at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. The family will greet guests from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
