Dorothy (Lindsey) Greene

Dorothy Lindsey Greene, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the age of 97. She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Henry Benson Lindsey and Nona Pressley Lindsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Greene, as well as her siblings Mozelle Sizemore, and Don, Jack, and James "Buck" Lindsey. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Nancy Green Yerton, Haroleen Keener and her husband Wayne, Ray Green and his wife Janice, and Pam Clark and her husband Keith; her sister Jeanette Welch; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. The family will greet guests from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. A service to celebrate her life will be held immediately following at 2:00 p.m. in the Woodlawn Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will conclude at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.
