Eddie Eugene McClure

Eddie Eugene McClure, 56, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, at his home. He was born in York, SC, son of the late Cleatus Eugene McClure and Polly Faye Peterson McClure Burgess. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, April McClure.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Karla Velle Grigg McClure; his children, Anthony McClure (Nicole), and Aaron McClure; his grandchildren, Aiden McClure, Adalynn McClure, Carson Hambrick, and Rosalie McClure; two sisters, Pam Cassell (Terry) and Lisa Suggs (Charlie); and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Eddie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at First Free Will Baptist Church, 307 Valley Ave., Clover, SC. Burial will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery, Bessemer City, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
