Edith (Lawing) Wykle

Edith Lawing Wykle, age 93, is at rest and waiting to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday June 3, 2025 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Maiden, NC, daughter of the late Garvin Lawing and Bertha Carswell Lawing.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Wykle, as well as her siblings: Lois, Gladys, Eulander, Mable, Joan, Julius, Earl, and Glenn.  

Ms. Wykle spent her career as a Nurse at the Nalle Clinic in Charlotte for 28 years.  She loved her entire family and will be missed dearly.  She was a former longtime active member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lincolnton.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Dale Wykle (Hilda), and Cindy McGuirt, as well as her brother Garvin Lawing, and her grandson Johnathan Matheson.

All services will be private.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Peak Resources in Gastonia.
