Ervin Bumgardner Obituary

Ervin Mack "Mickey" Bumgardner 78, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, property manager, and faithful Christian, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on June 27, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of service, faith, leadership, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Mickey proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 27 years, retiring after a distinguished military career marked by honor, integrity, and commitment. His service to the nation reflected the values by which he lived—duty, sacrifice, perseverance, and selfless service to others.
Following his retirement from the Navy, Mickey continued his life of service through a successful career in management. He was especially known for his work as a Homeowners Association Property Manager, where he dedicated himself to helping communities thrive. Through his leadership, professionalism, and ability to connect with people, he earned the respect of homeowners, board members, coworkers, and friends alike. Mickey approached every challenge with fairness, patience, and a genuine desire to serve others, leaving a lasting impact on the many communities he helped manage.

Above all else, Mickey loved the Lord and sought to live his life according to his Christian faith. He was a man of strong character whose trust in God guided him through life's joys and challenges. His faith was evident in the kindness he showed others, the wisdom he shared, and the example he set for his family.
Mickey's greatest joy was his family. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and took great pride in watching his family grow through the generations. Whether offering encouragement, sharing stories, attending family gatherings, or simply spending time together, he made those around him feel loved, valued, and supported.
He will be remembered for his warm heart, steady presence, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family, friends, country, and community. His life was one of service—to God, to his country, and to the people whose lives he touched each day.
While he will be greatly missed, those who knew and loved him find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior.
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23 (KJV)
