Eunice Elizabeth (Griffith) Lancaster

Eunice Elizabeth Mae Griffith Lancaster, 87, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at her home. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late John P. Griffith and Beulah Mae Hamilton Griffith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Rickie Lee Lancaster and Junior Dean Lancaster; her grandson, Rocky Beatty, Jr.; and her brothers, Homer Griffith and Jerry Griffith.

Mrs. Lancaster is survived by her husband, Dock Lancaster; her children, Teresa Lancaster (Ronald) and John Lancaster; her grandchildren, Starr Silva (Rogelio), Rickie Hooper (Tammie), John Boy, Rocky Beatty, Dee Lancaster; Tina Lancaster, Ronnie Lancaster, Jr., Brandy Lancaster, Jimmy Lancaster, and Eric Lancaster; her great-grandchildren, Rosa, Rogelio, Jr., Matthew, Aiden, Aurelio, Rickie, Jr., Christopher, Josh, Payten, Caleb, Cody, Ethan, Skyler, Ryland, Brooke, Tyler, Hunter, Riley, Kaley, Jenny, Christian, Caden, Hannah, Corbin, Syvanna, and Ciji; 15 great-greatgrandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Wanda Lancaster; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lancaster will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly, Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. The family will greet guest from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday.
