Florence Louise (Messer) Haskett

Florence Louise Messer Haskett of Mount Holly, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021, at the age of 77. She was born in Gaston County to the late John Alec Messer and Mildred Sue Mullins Messer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Hayes Haskett. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Elizabeth Sowell and her fiance Randy Davis, John Jenkins and his wife Amber, Perry Jenkins, and Hayes Haskett, Jr.; grandchildren, Callie Rimmer, Blake Jenkins, Nathaniel Jenkins, Cole Tucker, Ethan Whitaker, Wyatt Sowell, Caitlyn Morgan, and James Hudspeth; as well as her siblings, Brenda Braswell and Kenneth Messer. The family will greet guests from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. A service to celebrate her life will be held immediately following at 2:00, also at the funeral home. Interment will conclude at Edgewood Cemetery in Lowell.
