Gabby Eliese Carrigan

Gabby Eliese Carrigan, 18, of Mount Holly, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. She was born in Gaston County to Stephanie Renee Crosby Carrigan and Michael Shane Carrigan. Gabby was preceded in death by her uncle, Scott Carrigan; her maternal great grandparents, Monroe Peake and Ann Ligon Crosby; as well as a set of twin siblings. Gabby was a 2022 graduate of East Gaston High School. She was currently enrolled at Gaston Community College with a major in physical therapy. Gabby had such a wild and free loving spirit. She always had a smile for everyone and would light up a room. Gabby was a kind and loving person that would give you the shirt off of her back, and even in death, continues to give as an organ donor. In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Keegan Scott Carrigan; grandparents, Ann Carrigan and Barbara Peake Egan (Timothy) and Jerry Winston Crosby (Mike Hix); great grandmother, Marjorie Peake; her aunts, Jordan Carrigan and Virginia Crosby Fowler (Robbie); her loving cousins, Cole and Gage Carrigan and many others. The family will greet guests from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Springwood Free Will Baptist Church, 826 Stanley Spencer Mountain Road in Gastonia. A service to celebrate her life will be held immediately following at 7:00 p.m., also at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Strides of Strength Therapeutic Riding, 2717 Gaston Farm Road, Chester, SC 29706. Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
