Geoffrey Scott Hice

Geoffrey Scott Hice passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24th, 2026, at the age of 54. He was born on Tuesday, January 18th, 1972, in Gastonia, NC. He was a beloved father, son, brother, and cherished friend whose presence will be genuinely missed by all who knew him. Geoff was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Morrison Hice; and his father, Robert F. Hice. Geoff spent over 30 years employed with Textile Parts and Machine.

Geoff is survived by his children, Matthew Hice and Sarah Hice; his loving mother, Rachel G. Hice; his sister, Susan Caldwell (Ken); his brothers, Jim Hice (Vanessa), Barry Hice, and Todd Hice (Ginger); and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. 

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Sandy Plains Baptist Church, Gastonia, NC, on Monday, September 28th, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The visitation will be followed by a graveside service beginning at 2:00 pm at the church cemetery. Pastor Junior Morris will officiate.
