George Walden McKinney

Mr. George McKinney, age 67, of Cramerton, NC died on Monday October 23, 2023 at Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital.  He was a native of York, SC, and was the son of the late Arthur Darrell McKinney and Marilyn Auten Helton.  He was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie McKinney.  He is survived by his son, Patrick McKinney (Angel) of Denver, NC; daughter, Shannon Long (Scott) of Stanley, NC; sisters, Dawn Bryant (Greg) and Andrea Broome (Ric) of Charlotte, NC ; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday October 28, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Moores Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Charlotte.
