Geraldine Iwa (Brown) Lowe

Geraldine "Gerri" Iwa Brown Lowe, 77, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, daughter of the late Horace Mason Brown and Gertrude Leinani Kanuha Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Leinani Henson and Barbara Kay Greene; her brother, Douglas "Dougie" Kanuha; special uncle, Roland Kanuha; and special niece, Donna Myers.

Mrs. Lowe is survived by her husband, Donald Leon Lowe; her children, Theresa Lowe Heavner (Mark), Leinani Ingram (Betty), Shane Ingram Hunter (Scott), David Scott Lowe (Stella), and Yancey Ingram (Melissa); her grandchildren, David Mykal Heavner, Elijah Leon Heavner, Maria Shane Miller (Chante), Scottie Lynn Hunter, Steven Ingram Hunter, Samuel Mack Hunter, Victoria Ann Lowe, Stephanie Markowitz, and Miles Edward Ingram; her sister, Threasea Kanuha; her brother, Ronald Mason Brown (Dale); special niece, Lesa U'ilani Kanuha; a number of other nieces and nephews; and all of her extended family in Hawaii; she was Iwa, their Hawaiian Warrior.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lowe will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
