Glenna Jean Kincade

Glenna Jean Kincade, age 80 of Mount Holly, North Carolina, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in Gastonia, North Carolina. Glenna Warner was born November 21, 1942 in Drumright, Oklahoma.  Glenna married Jerry Kincade, also of Drumright, OK February 9, 1961.  They were a US Navy family and together they raised two boys, while traveling to many places scattered from Norfolk, Virginia to Honolulu, Hawaii.  During this time Glenna began working for the Navy in Personnel Administration, finally retiring with 40 years’ service.  Glenna was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church Mount Holly, NC. Serving in the choir, she loved her church family, Pastor Roger Overton, and Worship and Choir Leader Johnathan Gunter, and read voraciously.  Glenna was preceded in passing by her parents, Glen and Evadna Warner.  She is survived by her sister Abby Klepper (husband Tommy), sons Jerry Kincade (wife Penny) and Glenn Kincade (wife Vicki), grandkids Dan Kincade, Kerry Aneki (husband Matt), Jesse Kincade, Christopher Kincade, Krystal Stancil (husband Jordan), great-grandkids David McCoy, Brookelynn McCoy, Thomas Kincade, and Corbin Stancil. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday November 17, 2023 at Second Baptist Church in Mount Holly with Pastor Roger Overton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday also at the Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be made to Second Baptist Church, Mount Holly, NC 28120.
