Grady Ross Sigmon

Grady Ross Sigmon, 87, of Mount Holly, transitioned this life on Monday, December 19, 2022, shortly before his wife Helen Marie Burnett Sigmon transitioned on Friday, December 23, 2022.  Grady was born in Gaston County the son of the late Jones Lee Sigmon and Elizabeth Sipes Sigmon. In addition to his parents, Grady was preceded in death by his siblings, Henry Sigmon, J.W. Sigmon, Leona Richards, Bessie Mae Burnett, Betty McKinnish, Robert Sigmon, and Violet Louise Sigmon. He retired from Burlington Industries in Mount Holly after 50 years of service. He and his wife were long-time members of First Free Will Baptist Church in Mount Holly. In his spare time, he was an avid photographer. Those left to cherish his memory include his only remaining sister, Thelma Sigmon Smith, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Sigmon will be held at Noon on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will greet guests for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.
