Harlie Paul Johnson Jr.

Harlie Paul Johnson, 83, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born in Iredell County, son of the late Harlie Paul Johnson Sr. and Pauline Barker Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Pamela Hammond Johnson. They were married for over 49 years.  Mr. Johnson was a member of Cornerstone Family Worship.  He was a humble and kind man who will be missed by all that knew and loved him.  He always found happiness when spending time with family or hunting.  

He is survived by his 5 children, Jeana Tadlock and husband Ronnie of Hickory, Kevin Johnson and wife Kelly of Stanley, Rodney Johnson and wife Telena of Gastonia and Cynthia Alexander and husband Andy of Stanley, and daughter Carole Ireland and husband Johnny of Olin. Numerous grandchildren and  great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Johnson will be held 12:00 pm Monday October 20, 2025 at Cornerstone Family Worship Center with Pastor Kevin McClure officiating.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am -12:00 pm, prior to the service .
