Helen Keever Huffstickler, 92, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was born in Lincoln County, daughter of the late Harry V. Keever and Elva Lawing Keever. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Huffstickler; her son, Bob Huffstickler; her daughter, Jackie White; and her granddaughter, Rachel Huffstickler.
Mrs. Huffstickler is survived by her sons, Doug Huffstickler (Pat), Jeff Huffstickler (Teresa), and Jason Huffstickler (Ginger); her daughter-in-law, Teresa Huffstickler; her grandchildren, Missy Barnes (Dennis), Scott Huffstickler (Aubrey), Erin Brooks (Shane), Ben Huffstickler (Bethan), Robin Huffstickler (Jason Rick), Kelly Huffstickler, Dillon Huffstickler, Justin Huffstickler, Joshua Huffstickler (Crissy), Julie White, and Johnathan White; 16 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sue Cooley.
A graveside service, to celebrate the life of Mrs. Huffstickler, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte. Pastor Jeff Kincaid will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
