Obituary

Helen Marie Burnett Sigmon, born November 11, 1942 in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, the daughter of Robert Coleman Burnett and Attie Pearl Lee Burnett, transitioned this life on December 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Grady Ross Sigmon, as well as 8 siblings: Flora E. Burnett, Marion C. Burnett, Nancy L. Maney, Frances B. McKinnish, Margaret B. Painter, Warren Spencer Burnett, and David D. Burnett. She is survived by one brother, Kenneth Ray Burnett, Sr. and his wife Sara of Dallas, NC. A service to celebrate Mrs. Sigmon and her husband Grady, who transitioned this life just a few days before her, will be held at Noon on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will greet guests for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.
