Hubert Lineberry Russell

Hubert Lineberry Russell, 78, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. He was born in Montgomery, NC, son of the late Fred and Mable Cranford Russell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Russell; and his daughter, Karen Cribb. Mr. Russell was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Mr. Russell is survived by his wife, Mary Jeanne Green; his children, Michael Russell and his wife, Michelle; and Kenneth Russell and his wife, Idabelle; his brother, Garland Russell; his sister, Louise Bassett; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
