James Ray Eller

James Ray Eller, 88, went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. He was born in Rowan County, son of the late Adam Ray Eller and Fannie Trexler Eller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jean Eller; his sisters, Marie Hartline, Betty Holmes, and Mary Durette. Mr. Eller was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He also worked for 35 years for Duke Power, retiring in the position of supervisor at Allen Steam Plant in Belmont, NC.

Mr. Eller is survived by his daughters, Yvonne Webb and her husband, Ralph, Tina Thompson and her husband, Craig, and Gina Moore and her husband, Don; his grandson, Jimmy Webb and his wife, Kristen; his great-grandson, James Andersen Webb; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private graveside service to celebrate Mr. Eller's life.
