James Wilburn Green, 89, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Huey G. Green and Doris Wallace Green. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Violet Vaughn Green; his daughter, Victoria Green; his granddaughter, Amelia Green Postell; his great-grandchildren, Elan Postell and Emmett Postell; his niece, Terry Beatty; and his nephews, Lee Beatty and Wayne Beatty.
