James Haigler Obituary

James Franklin Haigler, 70, of Paw Creek, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at his home in Belmont. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Louis W. Haigler and Rachel E. Sharpe Haigler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Terry, Jackie, Johnny, and Jeffery Haigler, as well as three sisters Joyce Plummer, Janet Hoen, and Jewel Harris. Those left to cherish his memory include his children Rachel Irene Suggs and her husband Tim, and James F. Haigler, Jr. (Jimmy) and his fiance Megan McCraw; grandchildren Brandon Dale Suggs, Ashton Victoria Suggs, Timperance Hailey Suggs, Jasmine Faith Haigler, James Carlos Haigler (JC), and JoLeigh Grace Haigler; as well a brother Jerry Haigler and his wife Shirley and a sister Jill Meadows and her husband Jackie. The family will greet guests from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. A service to celebrate his life will be held immediately following at 1:00 in the Woodlawn Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.
