James Lavern Holt

James Lavern Holt, 67, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at his home. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late James Holt and Beverly Carlson Holt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bruce Holt and Debra Thompson.

Mr. Holt is survived by his daughters, Heidi Holt Rozner (Bobby) and Holly Holt Mackin (Ian); his grandchildren, Blake Rozner and Leah Rozner; his brother, Granvil Holt (Lynn); 10 nieces and nephews; and his long-time companion, Angela Lane.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Holt will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
