James Allen Pennington, Jr.

James Allen Pennington, Jr. passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his home. He was born in Beckley, WV, son of James Allen Pennington, Sr. and Catherine Oxley Pennington. Mr. Pennington was preceded in death by his aunt, Susan Pennington; and his uncle, Shawn McKinney. He was known for having a big heart and always trying to help everyone. He loved to fish, play guitar, and spend time with his daughter, his family, and close friends. He loved and cared for cats. He also loved his mustang and his low-rider trucks.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Kalli Pennington; his son, Rylan Pennington; his sister, Stephanie Edwards; his nieces, Chloe and Emelina Aguirre; and his close friend, Ross Thomas.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church. A memorial service, to celebrate his life, will begin at 11:00 a.m.
