James Conley Ross

James Conley Ross, 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. He was born in Marion, VA, son of the late Victor Ross. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Tilson; his sister-in-law, Brenda Davis; and his brother-in-law, Jack Wood. Mr. Ross was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam.

Mr. Ross is survived by his wife, Doris Wood Ross; his mother, Mary Reedy Ross; his children, Andrea Fisher (Michael) and Lori Shepard; his grandchildren, Dakota Barnes, John Ross Barnes, Kassi Boyd (Raymond), and Bonnie Ann Shepard; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother, William Ross (Linda); his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Coley (Calvin), Libby Ammons (Joel), and Darlis Wood; his brother-in-law, Don Davis; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly.
