Obituary
James "Ace" Kenneth Simmons Jr., 63, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022. He was born in Gaston County, son of the late James Kenneth Simmons Sr. and Jo Noles Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Buddy Parker; a sister, Melanie James; and nephew Burt Bradley.
Mr. Simmons is survived by his daughter, Constance Simmons; two granddaughters, Chelsey Bridges and Kamryn Mattison; his sister, Jackie Mason (Dale); and his brothers, Scott Simmons (Michelle) and Eddie Simmons. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and thirteen great nieces and nephews.
Ace was an avid fisherman who loved spending time on the lake.
