Janice Herring Albertino, 77, of Lowell, went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by family on Monday, November 28th, 2022. She was born in Gastonia to the late John and Malissa Herring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her sister and best friend, Frances and great-grandson Avett Paul.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Tammy Leggett, and husband, Wyndell of Lowell, son Mark Albertino and wife, Deanna, of Taylorsville; four grandchildren, Taylor, husband Ryan, Kelsey, husband John, Emma, fiancé Theron, and Malachi; four great grandchildren, Mayson, Ayden, Eliana, and Anders on the way; nephew, Terry Bradley; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Marian Ogden, as well as loving friend, Lisa Lee.
Janice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to caring for and supporting all of her family. She loved immensely and those around her experienced just that. Janice was a member and faithful supporter of Taylorsville Church of God, and often attended Belmont Foursquare.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 30th, from 6:00-8:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 375 Woodlawn Ave., Mt. Holly. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Gastonia on Thursday, December 1, at 10:00am and will be live streamed. The service will be officiated by Revs. Mark Albertino, Kevin Ford, and Josh Glandon. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Taylorsville Church of God Pro-Life Fund at 556 Kerda Street Taylorsville, North Carolina 28681.
