Janice Beaty, 75, met her sweet Lord and Savior on Tuesday , February 4 surrounded by her family. She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Curtis and Ruth Parker Deese. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Bill Deese.
Janice married her husband Wayne 52 yers ago. They spent years in the Mt. Holly area while raising their only son Chad. She was employed at Duke Power over 30 years doing administrative work based mainly out of Toddville. Janice was the sweetest, kindest praying soul. She loved her family BIG as well as her friends. She also loved her only Grandson Sawyer without measure. To know Janice, was a blessing and a treasure. She always made sure that you were blessed richly with pound cakes, pimento cheese and anything else that she whipped up. This was her love language and passion. She always wanted to fill their bellies along with their soul. Janice left this world peacefully and with her family. She spent countless hours being a prayer warrior and simply loving her family.
The family left to cherish her memories, a husband Wayne of 52 years, her son Chad and his wife Amanda, her precious grandson Sawyer Lee Beaty, two sisters who meant the world to her as well, Linda Capps, and Sherry Deese , a sister n law Sheila Palmer (Scott), nephew Kevin Capps and niece Dana Capps. She also had a special best friend at the beach Beth Friday, best- friends since middle school with lots of stories to share. All who met her will miss her dearly and covet those memories through quilts that she has made. She wanted each person to use the quilts and enjoy their warmth.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Pearl Baptist Church on Saturday, February 15that 12:00 pm to honor her life. If Janice has ever made and gifted you a quilt please bring it to display her love language. The family will also greet friends at 11:00 am prior to the service. Condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org. Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is caring for Mrs.Beaty's family.
In true Janice fashion, I will leave you with her own words. ~"LOVE YOU MORE"~
